Your trip is the apex of what a stationery/cultural/foodie trip to Japan should be. Just an amazing feat to be able to plan a trip that covered all the bases and indulge in all that yummy food!
Thanks for sharing your trip with us. I totally enjoyed seeing photos and reading the details of all you saw. Such a beautiful country! The red maples were spectacular seen through the decorative glass windows.
I can’t believe how beautiful Kurashiki is! I’ve been to Kyoto (between Thanksgiving and the first of December) and the tourists were totally manageable then. There were so many leaf peepers at the temple, in your picture...like a shocking amount of people 😅
Omigosh! I'm going to Kyoto in three weeks... Bookmarking everything here!
Thank you for sharing your trip.
You'd make a wonderful stationery tour guide there.

I feel like I'm back in Japan- beautiful photos and write up. I love the red maple leaves and the shrine in the background of your TN photos
As for my favorite part, Kiyomizu-Dera "above a sea of red leaves."
Definitely makes me want to visit Japan.
Thank for the detailed recaps of your trip. I hope to go to Japan one day.
I wish we all could have stayed longer in Kurashiki! So beautiful!
Thanks for the detailed recap! What are your thoughts on visiting Kurashiki as a non-stationary enthusiast? :o) Would it be worthwhile regardless?
Thank you so much for sharing all the beautiful places you visited. I'm going in February and pinning everything you mentioned on my map!
